Liberhan report is an attempt for character assasination

After going through around 100 pages of the Liberhan report, I've realised that the report is pre-judiced and motivated to malign the political leaders of BJP.

The report doesn't provide any facts about the event.... Who are the people.. who travelled to Ayodhya..? What are their means of transport..? Who booked the tickets of the travel..? How many karsevaks were interviewed..? From where are these 100,000s of activists congregated..?

There is no focus on these aspects..! Then... what is the point in this man spending 17 years.. and INR 9 Crores of public money..?

On the top of it.. this man.. has not visited Ayodhya.. not once in the last 17 years... during his tenure..!

Everyone knows.. that BJP has spearheaded the agitation... which got culminated in the destruction of the structure at the disputed site. Now, it is not the first time that the karseva was done at that sight... It happened 2 times before with much larger congregation... Then, why did it happened only on 6 Dec 1992?? Mr. Liberhan failed to answer this question in his voluminous..'NOVEL'

BBC has reported in early 1990s that the agitation for the Ram Temple in India was indeed much larger in proportion and vigor than the Quit India movement, 1942.

I think Liberhan would have got better understanding of the causes and reasons behind the demolition (of the dipliated structure on the disputed site) if it has questioned atleast 1000 real karsevaks from across the lenght and breadth of the Country...

Other than being the mouth-piece of Congress and spit venom on the political adversaries of his master/madam... this man has not done any credible job over last 17 years...

Controversy around Khandahar!

I think Elections 2009 has suddenly pushed the hijacking of IC 814 flight (" Khandahar hijack", which happened on 24 Dec 1999) issue again into lime-light. Actually, the 'issue' is genuinely a non-issue but for a reason on which it got embroiled into a controversy.

My motivation in writing this blog is to clear some confusion among 'literate' Indians about some perceptions they might have developed due to wily/ connving and impinging campaign of Indian Media

Many people even today think that Shri. L.K.Advani lied to the nation by saying that 'he is not aware of the release of terrorists'!

Now let me address this perception!!

History:
Indian Airlines plane was hijacked from the Khatmandu Airport on fatefull evening of 24 December 1999 by Harkat-Ul-Mujahideen. The demand was to release of 35 islamic terrorists and payment of USD 200 million. There were 176 innocent Indians on board. The flight landed in Amritsar for refuelling. At Amritsar, Captain Sharan requested refueling the aircraft. But the Crisis Management Group in Delhi directed Amritsar Airport authorities to ensure that the plane was immobilised. Even though the armed personnel of the Punjab Police were already in position to try and force the issue, New Delhi did not approve fearing loss of lifes if any such move is evidently seen by the Hijackers. Instead, a tanker was dispatched with the idea of blocking the approach of the aircraft. The driver, however, drove a trifle too fast and was told by ATC over the walkie-talkie to slow down. Rather than decelerate gradually, the driver screeched to a dead halt and this aroused the hijackers' suspicion. Without waiting for ATC clearance, the hijackers forced the pilot to take off, the aircraft narrowly missing the tanker by only a few feet.

The next halt was in Lahore. Indian Government has requested not to re-fuel the Aircraft. However, citing various trivial reasons Pakistan has refuelled the Aircraft and allowed it to take-off again into Dubai.

In Dubai, the dead body of the lone martyr Mr.Rupen Katyal, along with few passengers were let off. The flight took off again.

This time it landed in the terrorist haven, the land of Taliban in Khandhahar.

Indian Government was forced to hard negotiate with the terrorists, owing to the reluctance of Pakistan, US to come to the rescue of India. Also, the Media (Barkha Dutt's NDTV) created hysteria by lining-up the relatives of the on-board passengers. Also, some of the COngress activists started to protest in the guise of the relatives of the passengers (giving it a political angle). With almost no time left.. the Government had to strike a deal by bartering 3 dreaded terrorists who were languishing in the Indian jails for the lives of 160 odd innocent Indian lives.

Frankly, speaking no one thought it is a un-just deal as the decision was taken in an all-party meeting in which Mr. Manmohan Singh is also present representing the Congress Party. (Who shamelessly used this issue to attack Advaniji during the 2009 elections).

If any person has even minutest political-ethics would not have ridiculed/criticised an adversary for a decision which was taken in consensus with every political party including his party (and more so including himself!!). I don't understand why MEDIA was enjoying all this and has allowed the politicisation of Khandahar, while warding off any criticism of BJP on UPA for 26/11 Mumbai attacks, by saying that fight against terror has to be apolitical. (It carried out a campaign against all political parties after the 26/11 for diluting the aggressive stance of BJP). Today why blame BJP again.. that 26/11 has not been highlighted during elections.. :)

Anyway coming back to the topic, Mr. Farooq Abdullah is the only leader who vehemently opposed release of any terrorist. he admitted in a recent TV debate show on NDTV that when he called the Security Committe meeting of PM and 4 other cabinet ministers in which L.K.Advani, Jaswant Singh, Yashwant Sinha etc. are present. L.K.Advani was visbily unhappy with the decision of the Government, but at the same time is constrained by the 1) Media created hysteria 2) Political color given by COngress 3) Pakistan connvingly supporting the drama by re-fuelling and 4) US give India a cold-hand in the need of hour. India did not had any diplomatic relations with the barbaric Taliban Government.

Shri. L.K.Advani finally had to okay and sign the papers for the release of the terrorists.

Question 1: If Shri Advaniji himself signed the papers for release of terrorists, why would he say that he is not aware of the release of terrorists.
Answer: Advani had never said that he is not aware of the release of terrorists.

Question 2: Then what is that Advaniji said that he is not aware off?
Answer: Advaniji said that he is not aware of the fact that Jaswant Singh would escort the 3 dreaded terrorists in the same plane for facilitating the release of terrorists.

(Talibans had encircled the plane by deploying Army Tankers// Any mis-adventure of grounding the Indian Commandos would have put the whole operation in jeopardy. Taliban had purposefully deployed the tankers for this reason). Jaswant Singh himself said that upon advise from Indian Intelligence agencies that considering above circumstances, it might be advisable for some person to accompany the crew to Khandhahar to address any last minute complications. In these circumstances, Mr.Jaswant Singh has volunteered and the PM okayed it.

ADVANIJI HAS REFERRED TO THIS INSTANCE OF JASWANT ESCORTING THE TERRORISTS IN THE SAME PLANE, AS SOMETHING WHICH WAS DECIDED WITHOUT HIS KNOWLEDGE.

This aspect of the story has been successfully distorted by the MEDIA. Thanks to all the efforts by the conniving media who were in a hurry to write-off Shri Advaniji.

I've actually asked five of my knowledgeable/ well-educated friends about their perception on this issue. I was astonished to listen to them that they were all under the impression that Advani was lying that 'he was not aware of the relaease of the terrorists' till the time they got the above clarification.

One piece of advise to all my readers. Please do not follow media blindly and believe in them. There is definite bias against BJP and Hindutva (Age old culture and heritage of Indian-ness)! There is definite effort to dismantle the age-old value systems of this country by discrediting the torch-bearers of Hindutva and diluting the Culture by impinging/ aping the foreign culture.

Please be aware..!! Jai Hind!!

Every Indian can be called as Hindu

Hindu means Indian in Hindi..!!
I think it is high time.. that we should have clarity in the way... we use some of the words.. in colloquial langugaue...

Hindus are reffered to the people who are following the path prescribed by Vedic dharma... I think this is misleading .....!!

The word Hindu has basically originated from the river Sind... as people from foreign country used to refer those who live on the eastern banks of river Sindh as Sindhus.... Sindhus has become Hindus...

I urge one and all to understand this aspect and use Hindus as analogus word to Indians... Like we use Hindustan is India...

Please do not belittle the people of other faiths.. by saying... Hindustan.. is for only those people who follow Vedic dharma.... Today we have very few people around... who actually follow... the real vedic dharma... All the principles and rituals and customs got diluted.... Today... an average Indian is not someone who actually follows vedic dharma... (there is no compulsion that one should follow.. also)

I think these rules/ rituals/ customs were made for happy leading of life... It is upto individuals to preserve them and follow them to lead happy life...

Now considering that so many people in India themselves disowned... the Vedic dharma... it will not fair.. to coin word for that dharma as HINDU and say every person.. who has that affliation.. is HINDU and at the same time it is not fair for those people... who follow other faiths.. like Islam, Christianity, Sikh etc.. to say that they are not HINDUs...

So.. please understand the scuttle difference in the way the word HINDU is used today to what it actually means...

Address all Indians as HINDUs.... HINDU is not a religion... it is a national identity!!

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

BJP, a nationalist and national party was established in 1980, inspired by leaders like Sri. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee and Sri. Deenadayal Upadhyay!

BJP's agenda and Ideology from the start were that of a Nationalist... Key ideology points of BJP since its genesis which are still part of it policies today are..

1) Uniform/ Common Civil Code
One country - One law for all citizens... irrespective of caste, creed, religion and sex

I think here i should mention about the Shah Bano case..., the reason why Congress/ Left (or So-called Secularists) oppose this noble code!

Shah Bano, a 62 year old Muslim woman and mother of five from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, was divorced by her husband in 1978. The Muslim family law (marriage, gifts, inheritance, adoption and a few other civil laws are under the purview of personal laws in India - they are different for Christians, Muslims and Hindus) allows the husband to do this without his wife's consent: the husband just needs to say the word Talaq (meaning divorce) before witnesses for a valid divorce. There are different classifications on Talaq. There are also different aspects as well as other norms of Talaq which differ from sect to sect in Islam. Shah Bano, because she had no means to support herself and her children, approached the courts for securing maintenance from her husband.
When the case reached the Supreme Court of India, seven years had elapsed (1985). The Supreme Court invoked Section 125 of Code of Criminal Procedure, which applies to everyone regardless of caste, creed, or religion.
It ruled that Shah Bano be given maintenance money, similar to alimony. The orthodox Muslims in India felt threatened by what they perceived as an encroachment of the Muslim Personal Law, and protested loudly at the judgement. Their spokesmen were Muslim community leaders Obaidullah Khan Azmi, M J Akbar (presently with India Today group) and Syed Shahabuddin.
They immediatly formed an organization known as the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and threatened to agitate in large numbers in all major cities. The then Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, agreed to their demands and cited the gesture as an example of "secularism".
In 1986, the Congress part, which had an absolute majority in Parliament at the time, passed an act The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Divorce) Act 1986 that nullified the Supreme Court's judgment in the Shah Bano case (Instead of making a proper law like UNIFORM CIVIL CODE, the govt. resorted to appeasement/ vote-bank politics).

This act upheld the Muslim Personal Law and writ as excerpted below:
"Every application by a divorced woman under section 125… of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, pending before a magistrate on the commencement of this Act shall, notwithstanding anything contained in that code… be disposed of by such magistrate an accordance with the provisions of this Act."
The Statement of Objects and Reasons of this Act (i.e. the objective of the Act) needs a mention. According to the stated objects of the Act, when a Muslim divorced woman is unable to support herself after the period of iddat, the Magistrate is empowered to make an order for the payment of maintenance by her relatives who would be entitled to inherit her property on her death according to Muslim Law. But when a divorced woman has no such relatives, and does not have enough means to pay the maintenance, the magistrate would order the State Waqf Board to pay the maintenance. The 'liability' of husband to pay the maintenance was thus restricted to the period of the iddat only. Needless to sat that this Act was passed in order to appease minorities and safeguard the muslim vote bank.

The Shah Bano case generated tremendous heat in India. BJP argued that this type of appeasement politics can allow anyone to exert pressure on government and judicial decisions. The opposition (BJP alone) reacted strongly against the Congress party's policies (which, according to BJP, reflect "Pseudo-secularism").

Critics of the Shah Bano case point out that while divorce is within the purview of personal laws, maintenance is not, and thus it is discriminatory to exclude Muslim women from a civil law.

The Shah Bano spurred the debate on the Uniform Civil Code in India. The opposition to the reforms was based on the argument that no similar provisions would be applied for the Muslims on the claim that they weren't sufficiently advanced. The pressure exerted by orthodox Muslims caused women's organizations and 'secularists' to cave in.

This attitude of appeasement is not acceptable to the ideology of BJP.

2) Abrogation of Article 370 correcpond to abrogation of special status to Kashmir.

Sri. Shyam Prasad Mukherjee was murdered by the anti-national elements in Kashmir.. due to his continual fight to integrate Kashmir in India.. Infact, till the time he died.. there used to seperate names/ nomenclature and special statuses.. for Kashmir... After his death, Indian govt. has cancelled many special status aspects.. endowed on the state.. there atleast partly integrating kasmir into India.

India should remember that it was his martyrdom which made India to atleast integrate kashmir by 60% with India... Still article 370... is in place.. giving special status to Kashmir... which is main root cause for Govt. not take stringent action against terrorists.. butchering 10000s of Kashmiri Pandits and throwing lakhs out of Valley..(out of their own homes)..

Here again, the ill-effects of non-abrogation of this article has caused havoc on the Kashmiri Pandits... Cinematic instances ..like a notice out of your home.. asking you to leave by next day or die .... has taken toll.. interms of... ethinic cleansing (10000's were killed) of biggest magnitude ever happened in India .. and flushing out of lakhs of fellow Indians ..out of their own homes..... I wonder.. why NANDITA has choosen not to make 'FIRAAQ' on this... for the HYPOCRITICAL attitude of every 'secular' Indian!!! (....may be the suffering and atrocities against Majority community... doesn't SELL in India..)

Kashmir Valley, once had Hindu population almost in the comparative proportion to the Muslim population... today, we have less than 5% Hindus.. in Kashmir Valley!!

3) Stance aginst Appeasement/ Vote-bank politics

Vote-bank politics divide the country by polarising the votes..! The social theory and history says that the polarisation is evident always in minority community rather than a majority community... fearing ethinic cleansing. We have been seeing that in India as well... (99% of Muslims do not vote for BJP fearing that BJP would kill all of them if they come to power. On the other hand, hardly 5-10% of majority community vote based on the polarization (I’ll explain below, why people voted to BJP during the height of Babri issue?)

This polarization of votes based on religion is completely against the agenda of any nationalist as it simply divides the country and does not unite (Common civil code shows that every citizen is equal in the eyes of law).

Appeasement of minority communities will only make them feel that they are to be treated specially and they are different from others … and thus they should have affliation to people who appease them.. This type of politics.. might not be in the best interest of the country.. as the majority community will feel insulted.. and this will create polarization….

4) Swadeshi Economics

Any economic policy taken by any government has to take care of the Indian perspective… We, as a nation are different from other countries… Often.. referred as the sub-continent.. due to the variety in the geography that is typically seen in a continent…
We have good vibrant market within the country… and we have the capability to sustain our growth and fund our own development…

But having said that, we do not close the doors for the world around… we have to do business with every country… in a way, that is mutually beneficial…
There are certain areas.. where India as a country is atleast 10-20 yrs behind other countries.. only because when these countries were going ahead with the development 60 years back… we were struggling with other issues like independence etc… We were not able to cover this back-log in last so many years… this means our people are under prepared to take on the world competition…

In this wake… it is important for us to protect our domestic industry and encourage them to improve to become competitive… This is the essence of Swadeshi Economics…

Apart from all these BJP has grown to become party with discipline.. and difference…

Then why did BJP suddenly become a ‘communal’ party?

I think the rise of BJP from 2 seats in 1984 to 80 seats in 1989 has given enough indications… to all the political parties about what this wonderful organisation can do to them in years to come..! They've realised that the only way to keep them out of competition is to de-fame them…! (Like the typical story-line of our Hindi films….!! )

It was 1987-88… the country is in a critical stage as we are at tryst with destiny.. Esp. because our flawed foreign policy has not given India any respectable status in the world despite being the second most populous country in the world…!
Politically India has stable Govt. because post-Indira’s murder Congress got seats in excess of 400 in parliament… Rajiv Gandhi had great opportunity to set-right lot of flaws within our constitution.. by removing something like Article 370.. etc.. and bringing in Uniform Civil Code.... In contrast, Rajiv wasted an exclnt opportunity......
Also Kashmir terrorism.. was started by Pakistan sponsorship.. sensing that Indian govt. might resort to something like this..! We were always on the backfoot...never responded.. to the need of the hour from then!!

During this time the Ram Janmabhoomi Samiti which was fighting legal battle for the land on which Babri mausoleum is standing.. citing archealogical eveidences that it was built on a demolished temple has approached Sri. Rajiv Gandhi for giving the land for temple construction… Then PM (Rajiv) had granted them permission for Shilanyas..(ceremony of installing the idols before start of the construction) all this while BJP had involved in this considering that it is a policy of Government.. and a religious body…!!

Post 1989 elections after the break-out of BOFORs kickbacks.. where the family friend of Sri Sonia Gandhi… Ottava Quottrochi is implicated in the case… Rajiv lost credibility as a non-corrupt leader by showing favoritism to his wifes family friends… He lost elections and VP Singh was made the PM….

It was VP Singh who them re-voked Rajiv permission for the Shilanyas… as by then there was heavy lobby from minority community.. and they started conducting prayer from the mausoleum saying it is infact not a mere structure.. but BABRI MASJID (Mind you Masjid has some rules for construction… which is why all Masjids have minarets.. and not DOMES.. which is typically seen for tombs as per muslim architecture..)..

Now this came as an insult and embarrassment.. for the people… It is clear cut case of minority appeasement.. (exactly similar to the Amarnath land row case, where the Govt. has given the land to Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh committeee and had taken back.. succumbing to the pressure from vested (separatist) groups..)
VP Singh has done this to polarize the community for building a vote-bank… and second major instance of APPEASEMENT and vote bank politics after Shah Bano case....

This issue being against the ideology of BJP… BJP has taken it up nationally to restore the original stance of government and accused the VP Singh government of playing appeasement and vote-bank politics… Also, for the first time BJP articulated this attitude of politics..of appeasement and vote-bank in the guise of secularism as [b]pseudo-secularism[b]…. Also, during his regime.. the country had seen the evils of Mandal commission… when many people died.. by self-immolation…
BJP citing all these issues withdrew the support to National Front government and Congress supported Chandrasekhar for the PM post…

Sometime during the first week of May 1991 just 2 weeks before getting killed by LTTE during his election campaign, Rajiv Gandhi went on record…to promise building excellent temple at the site of Ramjanmabhoomi

Unfortunately Rajiv died… and Congress had to fight elections.. under PV Narsimha Rao…
BJP increased its tally by 50% going up till 120 seats… from 80 seats… Congress on other hand fell short of majority by few seats…
PV Narsimha Rao formed the minority government… and started.. to rule…. The congress had backed on the promise given by late Sri. Rajiv Gandhi on the issue of temple construction… Instead.. had started to again play vote-bank and appeasement politics… (as it is running the miority government.. and would not want to risk support from Psuedo Secularists.. and Vote-bank politicians..) there by Congress reiterated its stance of being the primary and front runner in the appeasement and vote-bank politics…

Interstingly, during this is the period... Muslim votes from UP were garnered by Mulayam and in Bihar by Lalu… both of whom were brought into national scene by none other than VP Singh (please see the connection) .... (Mulayam is later popular became to be known as Mullah-yam.. )

Congress lost minority vote-base to SP in during 1991 elections..... due to the promises of Late Rajiv Gandhi on the construction of Ram Mandir ........ Congress understood that for them...appeasement and vote-bank politics… are here to stay!!

Meanwhile, Advani had taken up the task to educate the Indians about this…to the Country.... after 1991 elections.. (Please think....Why would a national leader start an agitation just after elections.. if he is not genuinely concerned about the politics…for the nation… and not for votes… ) In the run-up for this (Rath Yatra) Advani was arrested by Lalu in Bihar much like todays VARUNs arrest in Philibit… for appeasement of minorities!

This created the stir among the Kar Sevaks who were by then assembling in Ayodhya for the massive protest.. and the mob raged in to destroy the Babri mausoleum (later propoageted as ‘Masjid’).

SECULARISM has suddenly become a catch word and life line to keep BJP out of contention….!!
People started to futher their vote-bank politics.. saying BJP as communal …and ANTI-MUSLIM…. out of blue...!!
(You can still connect this nationalistic mind-set of BJP leaders to the present day statements... and you would find the connect..)

During 1989.. there were huge riots in Hyderabad.. in which more than 300 hindus were butchered… (this was a consipiracy.. directed by one section of Congress party to over throw the then CM of AP…Sri Marri Chenna Reddy… as during that time… religious polarization was at its peak due to the Vote-bank politics..!!

Now..what is the justice for the families of 300 died.. in the communal riots… Hyderabad not only become more powerfull minority bastion.. it also became notorious for giving shelter to the growing terror across country… (See the side effects of the vote-bank politics)

Suddenly everyone attacked BJP for being COMMUNAL… when in reality.. BJP was nationalistic and only opposed minority appeasement and vote-bank politics..!! Suddenly BJP is branded by all as it is Communal and party of Fanatics..!!
Fearing that Advani would be catapulted as PM candidate ahead of AB Vajpayee… the then PM (before 1996 elections), PV narsimha Rao named Advani and Madav Rao Scindia ( the up-coming Congress leader) in the Hawala scam!!

PV wanted to shoot two birds..with one shot… both were potential PM candidates for their respective parties during the run-up for 1996 elections… Advani owning moral responsibility had paved the way for Vajpayee (till the time his name got clear 3 years later..by Supreme Court).

Also, the woes of growing into a big party has diluted BJP’s image as a party with discipline and difference… As the party grows big new joinees would be coming.. and it becomes challenge managing the party workers and cadre… The instances of horse-trading in UP assembly by Kalyan Singh has damaged the party’s image!!

BJP although lost some of its high reputation and credibility… has not lost its ideology.. it stuck to its agenda.. of nationalistic policies… Hindutva is seen as cultural nationalism by the party and basic ethos for SUPREME SECULARISM.. … which has always been the ethos of Indian culture…

People have reposed faith on BJP by giving 161 seats …In 1996 elections… (up from 120 to 160)

By this time all parties including Left have relaised that if ever BJP comes to power it will become so dear to people.. that it can never be thrown out….

BJP became the single largest party in the parliament in 1996 with 161 seats… and Congress had been reduced to 130 ..down from around 260 seats.. (almost halved..)

With only sole aim of keeping BJP out of power Congress joined hands with JD.. and we had PMs in the guise of Devegowda and IK Gujaral…. (If one re-collects the speech of AB Vajpayee, during the end of 13 day term of his government… One would realize…and can connect what I’m talking about..)

Country got frustrated with the rule of fractured leaders and their fractured mandates during 1998 elections… It gave thumping majority to NDA which was formed in 1998 and the Vajpayee government came into power (BJP 189-191 seats and NDA totally 303 seats).

Vajpayee gave India stable and able leadership… Sensex zoomed from 3000s level to around 10000 by 2004… all this despite.. India was under the economic sanctions…and kargil war….
India became nuclear power… India started to become economic powerhouse with the upsurge of IT and Telecom (Vajpayee government started pvt. Telecom sector with selling BSNL stake amid..much uproar….) Today we have so many mobile connections…and the prices have comedown fro Rs.16 to Re.1 for STD per call..despite the inflation… Disinvestment minister Arun Shourie was instrumental in Nalco, Balco, BSNL and other sell-offs.. Infact, India moved towards.. economic reforms.. taking cue from the the previous Congress government initiatives.

India become nuclear power and the world thought that because BJP was in power (which is painted as HINDU TALIBANs by the media to outside world..) A nuclear war is in the offing.. esp. during the height of Kargil conflict…

NDA government proved one and all wrong.. by showing that… India is peace-loving nation and the ruling party is nationalist and not as potrayed by the media!
This laid the foundation for the Nuclear deal with India… With fall of USSR and upsurge of US as world supreme super power… India is now seen as key partner for world growth… unlike china.. whose internal markets are not as vibrant as Indian.

Rise of terror and terrorists forces… had seen further polarization of Indian polity.. more from the perspective of minority commuity… Jihad had got new meaning.. now terror is not specific to Kashmir.. it started to show up every where in the country…
NDA has sensed this and brought up a special law POTA to deal with terror….

Godhra mishap happened when a group of Hindu piligrims were set ablaze in a rail compartment in Godhra… this triggered a riot.. in Gujarat… (Gujarat has seen numerous communal riots ever since 1965….) The polarization and vote-bank politics.. along with the rise in Islamic terror had pushed the Indian minority into denial mode.

There are reports of Pakistani falgs unfurling in certain parts of Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Mumbai and Hyderabad…etc… This polarization is root cause of the riot..!!
Riot is a riot… there will not be any law in riot… the GUJARAT administration claims to have controlled the RIOT to the best of its ability….!!
(Remember country cannot provide security for the specified areas (cricket stadiums) when the external threat is in the offing.. even if the event is weel planned… How do you think a riot.. which is consequence of internal clashes.. among the people be contained…when you do not know when it would break where…???)

Please remember that this riot.. was triggered by GODHRA carnage… Who are the people involved in burning 80 odd piligrims.. mostly women and children… It was a ghastly act as the doors of the compartment were locked from outside before setting it ablaze…

In Godhra riots 1100 people died… 300 Hindus and about 800 Muslims… This riot is indeed shame on the modern India… But I ask the question… tomorrow… if there is another incident.. like that… are we in a position to stop.. another riot..???? Please think…

Hyderabad riots in 1989 continued for more than 20 days.. with dily atleast 10-15 people being killed…??? All of them HINDUS…
I’m not saying that muslims have carried out all this… But there are certain anti-national elements.. who had courage to carry-out an act to kill 80 people and still dare to move in the streets of cities like Ahmedabad …. Police and law might take their own sweet time.. and there is no guarantee that guilty would ever come to book… but….people do not wait.. leaving their hearts burning…. That’s what happened…

Now as a government all that we should be doing is not to create that environment…of polarization (immediate shunning of vote-bank politcs) and deal sternly with anti-nationals (POTA) which is what BJP did..in Gujarat..!!

All these have been used by opposition to further tarnish image of BJP as a Secular party.. instead they’ve started to tom-tom… negative propaganda by teaming up with media and hypocrites like Nandita Das, Mallika Sarabahi, Javed Akhtar etc.. (I call them Hypocrites.. because they’ve not cared to voice against 1989 Hyderabad riots or the brutal ethinic cleanising being witnessed in Kashmir Valley.. Nandita had gone one step further by justifying the Islamic terror as consequence of Gujarat riot… I think this lady might earn critics awards for her art / movie… but she has played into hands of terrorists… who now show movies like FIRAAQ and justify for recruiting fresh talent.. from the sub-urbs of every city and town of India…. Hate spreads and sells faster than love.. I think Nandita understood this well…. I’ll not be surprised in due course of time she might get Padma awards… for her contributions…)

Latest episode is centered around Varun Gandhi’s speech to the community of the victims of which 4 girls were raped… by minority community youth.. (On the backdrop of Pilibhit having history of communal clashes due to the vote-bank politics and appeasement politics.. of local politicians of Samajwadi Party). Varun made speech to comfort them and give them support as a nationalist… For instance he said…”If anyone raises hand…” Media twisted it saying… if anyone raises.. finger…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaGg4aR0zKk

Please go through the above link for having glimpse of media distortion…!!

Now I it is upto matured educated Indians.. to decide.. what they want… Divisive politics of pseudo secularists? Or Nationalist and Supreme Secularist politics?

Remember Congress talked about minority reservation, Pension to the family of terrorists, political dilemma for not hanging Afzal Guru and many more like this…. To further prove its ‘Secular’ credentials….. I’m sorry to say that BJP will never do this to the country… for grabbing power!!
